SCHOOL RULES

    A student must carry his/her Almanac to school daily. All information concerning students in the Almanac should be completed and duly signed by the parents.

    Students should come to school on time. Late comers should report to the Teachers-on-duty on arrival. The school gate will close at 8.30 am sharp.

    Students should be proud of their school uniform. They should be clean and neatly dressed. Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.

    Students are advised not to wear gold ornaments or bring expensive articles to school.

    Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments to school.

    Attendance in the morning assembly is compulsory. Exemption from assembly will be granted only on medical ground.

THIS IS EXPECTED OF A DMI SJGS’ STUDENT:

    They should observe polite manners wherever they go. They should greet their teachers / elders wherever they meet them. It is expected that students behave in a manner which brings a worthy name to the school community. Bullying and use of abusive words are punishable offences. They should not indulge in any anti-social activity in or outside the school.

    The school is the second home and hence students should respect school property. If a student causes any damage to the school property, he / she should bear the cost of the repair or replace the damaged item.

    Students should practice cleanliness and should keep their classrooms and their school premises spic and span. They should throw leftovers and litters in the dustbins only.

    Absence from school before exams is not permissible.

    The Principal reserves the right to suspend/rusticate or take strict disciplinary action against a student who violates the school rules or indulges in any form of indiscipline or whose conduct is harmful to other students.

    Business/Monetary transactions among peers in the school are strictly prohibited.

    No students should indulge in any of the following practices, namely:

      Writing anything on uniform, others, clothes or school property.

      Spitting on or near the school buildings.

      Any form of gambling.

      Rowdyism and rude behavior, violence in any form or casteism, communalism or practice of untouchability or bursting of crackers or throwing of colour on one another or painting faces within the school premises.

    No student is permitted to bring a mobile phone to the school. Use of Mobile phones is prohibited within the school campus.

    No student is allowed to visit any of the kiosks situated around the school during the school hours and if found, they will be dealt with seriously.

    No students will be entertained to misbehave in the school buses. If found doing so, they will not be allowed to commute to school thereafter.

    Roll Nos. / Admit Cards of the students who do not follow the school rules or behave in a disciplined manner may be withheld based on the Code of Conduct issued by the CBSE.

    No student should come to school in case he / she is ill or indisposed even if there is a test / exam / competitive event on the day. In case the child comes to school, the school will not allow him / her to go back home after the test or during school hours as per the school policy.

    Students should never leave the classroom without switching off the lights and fans.

    Students should never use poly bags. Instead they should use cloth bags or paper bags.

    Students should never uproot or cause damage to any plants/trees on the school premises.

KINDLY NOTE:

It is religiously expected that all the students conform to the Code of Conduct laid down by the school. On failing to do so, they will be dealt with severely without exception.

On any occasions, students will not be allowed to enter school premises unless they are in their proper School Uniform.
