I think this is the need of the hour-the stupendous mission of transforming our students-fraternity into prominent, inspiring and transforming leaders of the society.
The onus of churning out leaders from our school has to be taken as a primary mission for shaping this society to be ushered in to serve the other. Our Temple of Learning must prepare the children to Dream Big on the lines of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Those who think of reaching the top of Mt. Everest will certainly reach the top or at least the foothills.
Many students hail from various socio-economic backgrounds which seem to shackle them by programming their minds that they cannot dream big. This obstacle should be purged out from their minds. Let every student dream big and achieve his dream. None shall be deprived of their dreams. Let our society continue to be support to every aspiring mind and guide to their success. Besides, our educational system should endeavour to promote independent, analytical and critical thinking, thus widening their intellectual horizons. ‘To teach a man how he may learn to grow independently, and for himself, is perhaps the greatest service that one man can do another’-Benjamin Jowett. I know it is a million dollar question, but IT IS POSSIBLE! For a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step-as you all know the Chinese Proverb, for instance.
I am also confident that our DMI SJGS is a Model Temple of Learning. Let it create able leaders in the years to come.
