● A new academic session 2021-2022 begins, as we move forward new learning and new challenges. Today we are facing an all new challenge which the world has never seen in the past. Covid-19. World has come to a standstill temporarily.
● Due to this pandemic Covid-19 a total new dimension of Teaching and learning has evolved. It is a new challenge for Teachers, Parents and Students. While any amount of words is less to appreciate teachers who have swiftly taken the challenge and converted it into an opportunity and adopted them and got familiar to new method of teaching through technology. Teachers have sacrificed their family time and relentlessly worked hard to keep the teaching and learning process on, so that the students will not lose an academic year, keep the spirit of students high even during lockdown etc. Teachers have been continuously teaching lessons, conducting activities, debates, quizzes etc to keep the students spirit high.
● At SJGS, teachers create an environment that nurtures the students with their warmth, kind hearted, accessible, enthusiastic, and caring approach. Teachers convey a sense of leadership by providing opportunities to each student to assume leadership roles.
● Parents, Children & School are the 3 important stake holders in shaping the future. Parent is the first teacher. Without parent support, involvement and respect towards the schools, the goal of shaping the future can never be accomplished. Today parents have lots of knowledge and information on fingertips, by way of smart phones. These smart phones in some cases have become a influencer rather than knowledge provider, which is a hindrance in achieving the parents dreams of giving a better future to their children. Parents must be cautious while using the technology in shaping the future. Parents are the role models for their children in imbibing value system, ethics, discipline etc.
● For students I have one message: Perseverance and Resilience are the important qualities of successful people. You have entered this prestigious SJGS campus with fresh thoughts, high spirits, high hopes. I assure you that our highly experienced, qualified, motivated Teachers continuously strive to support you to achieve your dreams and goals whether it is scholastic or Co-scholastic. But for achieving your dreams you have to be first a good Human Being. You are the role model for the future batch of students who enter into this campus and the world.
